On October 17th, Dr. Monica Rodriguez-Castro, Dr. Noha Ghali, and Ms. Yukiko Yukono participated in the open house event at Fretwell Hall to recruit prospective students for the Department of Languages, Cultures and Translation. The well-attended event drew numerous students and parents, making it a highly successful outreach effort.

Congratulations to David Dalton for hosting a very successful Mexico East conference on Friday September 11 and Saturday September 12. The conference was attended by approximately 30 scholars from the Eastern US. It was co-hosted by University of South Carolina and UNC Charlotte. Our department was a co-sponsor.
