Yongling Gorke was the Director of Confucius Institute and Adjunct Professor of Practice at the Department of Languages and Culture Studies, UNC Charlotte. A language lover and an international educator by training, Yongling's professional expertises include Chinese curriculum development and assessment, education abroad, teacher training and cross- cultural exchange. Yongling is an experienced English-Chinese translator and has worked with various organizations on cultural exchange between China and the U.S. Yongling speaks Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, English and German.
