Kate O’Brien

Kate O’Brien is a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Languages, Cultures, and Translation at UNC Charlotte. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Spanish and is teaching Elementary Spanish 1102. Kate has experience teaching middle and high school, and has received her Spanish teaching certification. Kate received her Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Gettysburg College and completed the Spanish Language Immersion Program at Middlebury College following graduation. She looks forward to pursuing her career in teaching following graduation from UNC Charlotte, and is passionate about making the classroom a welcoming learning environment for all students.
