Tatianna Wilkins is an M.A. Fellow and professor of Spanish at UNC Charlotte. In May 2024, she earned her Master’s in Language, Literatures, and Cultures, with a concentration in Spanish. She also holds a B.A. in International and Global Studies from UNC Greensboro, specializing in Latin America and the Caribbean, Psychology, and Spanish.
Her research, both at the graduate and undergraduate levels, centers on the African diaspora in Latin America, focusing on language, identity, and media representation. Tatianna is also passionate about dance, writing, and film, and is the founder of We See You (https://www.weseeyoumagazine.com/), an online magazine dedicated to international storytelling.
