Dr. J. Graham Johnson is a Lecturer of Spanish in the Department of Languages, Cultures and Translation. He has taught Spanish courses at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels and is excited to join the faculty at UNC Charlotte. Graham received his Ph.D. in Romance Languages, Hispanic Linguistics concentration, and his M.A. in Hispanic Linguistics from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia; he received his B.A. in Spanish from Berry College in Rome, Georgia. His research interests include neo-Gricean pragmatics, discourse analysis, historical linguistics, identity and queer linguistics, and language pedagogy.
