Congratulations to Dr. Hobgood

Dr. Bobby Hobgood was nominated for the UNC Charlotte Award for Teaching Excellence, one of the University’s most prestigious honors, recognizing faculty members who demonstrate outstanding commitment to teaching and student success. Dr. Hobgood was nominated for the 2026 award. While the award finalists have now been selected, the provost wrote to recognize his nomination and thanked him for the dedication and excellence he brings to the classroom. Being nominated for this award reflects the impact of his teaching and the extent to which others in our community hold Dr. Hobgood in high regard.
